Another Special Guest for July Event

While Mass Innovation Nights might be well known as a great place to see cool new products, we’re probably just as well known as a great networking venue.  (In fact, many people have told us they have made great connections at previous MIN events.)

So, in that spirit, we’re adding another special guest to our July line-up. Wendy Gelberg is the founder of Gentle Job Search/Advantage Resumes and author of The Successful Introvert: How to Enhance Your Job Search and Advance Your Career. She is a certified career coach and resume writer whose expertise is in helping people who are uncomfortable “tooting their own horn.” Wendy gives workshops, coaches individuals, and writes articles and blogs on all aspects of the job search process. Wendy will have copies of her book and will be available to discuss 7 networking tips for people who don’t like to network. Specifically, she will have some handouts and address networking challenges including:

•    Breaking the ice
•    Managing energy drain
•    Creating a networking game plan
•    Redefining networking success
•    Developing quality contacts
•    Managing the awkwardness
•    Following up

If you are in job search mode, bring your questions and concerns Wednesday, and learn to make the most of your networking opportunities.
