A High-Tech City Wide Mobile Game For Techies and Entrepreneurs In Boston
(Network + Fun + Free Food)
Heya Fellow MIN Readers!
My name is Seth Priebatsch here and I’m Chief Ninja of SCVNGR (a mobile gaming start-up I founded while at Princeton.) I’m posting here because there’s an awesome event for networking and fun being powered by SCVNGR next month in Boston. It’s called THE QUEST for Innovation.
THE QUEST is a high-tech city-wide mobile phone scavenger hunt all through downtown Boston. On the afternoon of Friday, October 9th, 50-100 teams will gather at City Hall Plaza to participate. Teams are being fielded from the leading companies and organizations in New England; Microsoft, Deloitte, WilmerHale, Legal Sea Foods, Silicon Valley Bank, Mass High Tech, Xconomy and more! (Ed. Note: And Mass Innovation Nights, and we’re going for the WIN, so look out! Want to join our team, let us know!)
Being a part of THE QUEST is a great opportunity to network, explore Boston, have a great time and help to be part of an event that’s raising money for great entrepreneurial not-for-profits in Boston. Participation is 100% free and there will be an after-party with free food and drink post the event. The afterparty is at Felt and we’ll have free food and drinks!
So, how do you play?
Teams can be anywhere from 3-7 colleagues from your company or start-up or you can just have an individual sign up and THE QUEST crew will pair them with a team. Submit your team and read about THE QUEST. Click “apply” to submit your team and join the likes of Constant Contact, Microsoft, MIT, NECINA, Olin and many others in hunting through downtown Boston on Friday afternoon, October 9th.
So, go to Quest for Innovation and submit your team to be a part of THE QUEST today! Feel free to forward this link and invitation along to other colleagues and friends in the entrepreneurial / tech community in and around Boston.
It’s going to be a great opportunity for some start-ups to get together and have some fun!
Hope to meet you there!
Cheers,
Seth Priebatsch
