We were first introduced to the concept of the Boston World Partnerships at one of the recent Social Media Breakfast meetings. An economic development-focused organization started by Boston Mayor Menino, the BWP uses connectors (a la Malcolm Gladwell in The Tipping Point) to build its network of people ready, willing and able to help newcomers to the Boston business scene. The Website serves as the gateway, welcoming business leaders to the Boston area and demonstrating the advantages to doing business here.
