August Innovators — Eat, Err…Look Here

We’re doing another theme night!  (July was such a wild success with the Green/Clean cluster.)  As you know, we believe there is innovation going on in every industry and the FOOD industry is no exception, so we reached out into the food-oriented innovation community and found some great companies to feature and not just folks who prepare and supply food!  All these companies are doing something innovative with food and eating.  Special thanks to Janet Morgenstern Passani from Jute Marketing, Kelley Lynn Kassa from Midnight Oil Writing, Leah Graves and others who helped with introductions.

Here’s the drill.  RSVP for the August 11 event, to be held at the IBM Innovation Center, 404 Wyman Street.  Check out the companies, and then we’ll see you there — help us promote these great products.  The top four vote-getters — voting closed at noon on Tuesday with the most votes for 1FastBite, Eversave, KangoGift and TopSprouts — will have 5 minutes to present their story to everyone but all these great companies will be there!  (All ten organizations will have tables and you can talk to everyone.)  Remember, our goal is to help promote these products — if you tweet, use #MIN17, if you blog, let us know and we’ll connect to it.  Or use your camera and upload your pictures and video.  Or simply fill in that LinkedIn status with a link to one of our cool companies.  Let’s make some noise!

  2. Yes, food, food’s fine but something’s missing.

    The wine, guys, the wine!

Take a look at the Boston Wine School:

Jonathon’s knowledge of the grape, the water, the geography, the weather, and what cheese goes best will blow you away. Or at least get you to try something new.

LOL, we’re always glad to add “special guests” — it is a party after all!

  4. We’re happy to be back presenting the Boston Chocolate School after last time presenting Boston Chocolate Tours. This time, if chosen we’ll be sampling Cocoa Metro Dark Chocolate Milk, truffles from Vianne Chocolat and talking about our truffle making workshop: http://www.necn.com/02/09/10/Homemade-Valentines-Day-truffles/landing.html?blockID=177570&feedID=4215
